Birch Grove Estate is a large family property in Delhi where the grounds had been maintained but never really designed, leaving the space feeling flat and undefined.
The Challenge
The scale of the grounds made it easy for the design to feel empty or overly formal, and the existing lawn dominated with little structure or seasonal interest.
The Solution
We introduced formal hedging to define rooms within the grounds, added a central fountain as a focal point, and layered seasonal planting beds so the estate changes character through the year.
The Result
The completed landscape gives the estate a more refined and welcoming character.
