Project Overview
The Lotus Pond House sits on a generous plot in Pune where the family wanted a calmer, more contemplative garden built around water rather than lawn.
The Challenge
The site had poor natural drainage, and previous attempts at a pond had leaked and gone stagnant, leaving the family wary of another water feature.
The Solution
We regraded the site, installed a properly lined and filtered koi pond with a small biofilter, and surrounded it with stepping stones and moisture-loving planting so the water feels integrated, not added on.
The Result
The finished garden brings together water, greenery, and natural textures.
